Based in Dalguise, Highland Perthshire, we are a bespoke picture framing studio specialising in contemporary, hand-finished frames.  Our workshop is run by husband-and-wife team Lyndsey and Keith Davidson, working with private clients, artists and galleries throughout Scotland.

 

Our backgrounds in heritage crafts shape everything we do.  Lyndsey is a printmaker and artist, running The Hunter Press alongside the framing studio, while Keith brings over 25 years of experience in Blacksmithing and Engineering.  Together, these disciplines have given us a deep appreciation for materials, precision and finish, and an understanding of the importance of both enhancing and conserving the artworks entrusted to us.

 

Every frame is handmade in our Dalguise workshop with the option for using conservation grade materials and sustainably sourced timber.  From original artworks and limited editions to photography and objects, each project is approached individually, with careful attention to proportion, presentation and longevity.

 

We offer one-to-one consultations at the studio, taking the time to understand both the artwork and the story behind it. Collaboration is central to our process, allowing us to create framing solutions that fully complement the work.
